This plant is lots of fun if your goal is to kill your grass. We love egging it on and helping it along in its plan to spread out into our yard. The smell is nice.

I have this growing near the back porch. Stays low to the ground and doesn't need mowing. With the added benefit that it helps repel mosquitos! Since I have a bit of a slope in the back, I wouldn't care if it covered the slope. Except for the veggies of course.

Spreads quickly; can be mowed to lawn height; sharp but pleasant fragrance; quite toxic -- avoid planting where it can spread into gardens of edible plants; and especially avoid planting it where it might be confused with edible mint. I've ripped all mine out -- it is not worth the risk.
