| Had Salvia argentia growing in my zone 5 garden, and although it survived a couple of winters here, it struggled to survive. Last year I transplanted it into a pot and put it in my greenhouse,(which I only heat with a couple of heat lamps to keep it just above freezing),and it seems to be doing a lot better now, with new soft, hairy, growth which is quite beautiful. | Ratings| overall | 9 | | how easy | 7 | | flower | n/a | | foliage | 10 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | n/a |

| Christine_Gay - NSW Aust | This plant is one of the best ground covers for our area. It doesn't mind heat, cold or wet ground. It doesn't mind long dry spells although it can look a bit ratty during a drought but, importantly, it doesn't die. The silver leaves are very beautiful and visitors always ask for its name. Many also want a piece to strike. | Ratings| overall | 10 | | how easy | 10 | | flower | 10 | | foliage | 10 | | propagate | 10 | | fragrance | 1 |
