Purchased this as a pot plant from the Toronto Ontario flower show last spring and it is doing quite well. I keep it outdoors for the summer in full sun and the only problem that I became aware of is that the plant doesn't like to be overwatered and the drainage has to be excellent as well as letting the soil completely dry out in the winter before watering.

Large, velvey gray-green leaves, almost pettable.

My plant is 6 feet tall and very statuesque. The trunk at the base was knawed off all the way around last year, but it still is looking good with the protective shield around the base. The colors of the tops of the leaves turn colors due to the amount of the bright sun it gets.
