Iris 'Honorabile'
This one has been around almost as long as my house which was built in 1820. It seems to survive cold borders, warm spots and neglect.

Iris 'Honorabile'
Shown In Full Shade
(Lemon, 1840) 24", MTB, M: I've grown this iris for many years, and it thrives in almost any location, -sun, shade, all soil conditions, etc. All of my pictures show it with flaring falls straight-out, but this one with "drooping" falls caught my eye and I decided to use it. When (and if) I edit this page again I'll use a "group" shot to show the nice "flared" effect ...
