| A great plant, lovely color, not fussy, blooms Mid-June to Frost. The only downside--bees really like it. | Ratings| overall | n/a | | how easy | 10 | | flower | 10 | | foliage | 8 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | n/a |

The deep red is the macedonica | Flowers spring thru fall (my winter - zone 9 - I get sporadic blooms), no staking. Easy from seed or cuttings. I get arguements that it is scabiosa (same family, flowers look VERY similar). This shot has a lavender bloom of knautia Melton Pastel in the center with Macedonica to the right. The deep color of macedonica is fantastic. | Ratings| overall | 10 | | how easy | 10 | | flower | 10 | | foliage | 10 | | propagate | 10 | | fragrance | 2 |
