Trachelospermum asiaticum
Flowers with foliage
Seems to flower only on stems allowed to grow higher up. The foliage and the use as a ground cover are the main assets, though.

I haven't had this long enough to see it bloom, but the foliage is lovely.

I just purchased ten plants of Asian Jasmine. I have never purchased before. Does it flower or is it just a ground cover. Thank you. Rose Mize, dmize1@houston.rr.com

Worst because I just don't like this stuff. It too came with the house. Previous owners planted it all over the place *sigh*

Trachelospermum asiaticum
Lovely sparkling ground cover for part sun/part shade Water well Free-draining, moisture retentive soil. (lots of organic material will have that result) Zones 7-? Variegated is less vigorous than the species. Very popular cascading bonsai, would probably make a great houseplant for a hanging basket.

I have a bald area in my jasmine bed that is growing. Could it be a fungus? I cannot find a record of any "enemies" of jasmine in available literature. If any gardener is having a similar experience and has a possible remedy, I would appreciate the information.

Asian Jasmine tolerates full sun to partial shade and will grow as a groundcover or cling to a wall.

I planted them 2 weeks ago, they are about 30cm. I hope they will grow up the wire I have as a front fence. How long will this take?
