Double Delight before turning pink | I am in love with these roses! I have 4 I purchased 3 years ago and 3 that I rooted from cuttings of the original ones. All are blooming already! In Mississippi they bloom all year long. They do very well in pots also. I am having bug problems with 3 of the original 4 plants. | Ratings| overall | 10 | | how easy | 9 | | flower | 10 | | foliage | 9 | | propagate | 10 | | fragrance | 10 |

Lovely, showy flower, nice medium size. Changes coulour in my garden rapidly. Shrub grew out and not that up for me however. About 3 feet max each way. 3 flushes of bloom in maine, almost a fourth, but it was a warm year. Cut flowers were wonderful. However , I kept hearing that this was a lovely fragrent rose. It does have some fragrence, but not nearly as much as I ... | Ratings| overall | 8 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 9 | | foliage | 8 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 6 |

 March 30, 2005 | I love this rose. I believe it would be a better bloomer if it got more sun. Right now, it's under dappled sun. | Ratings| overall | 9 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 8 | | foliage | 8 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 10 |

This bloom is incandescent | If you want a hybrid tea that doesn't ever need spraying, even in my hot, humid, steamy climate I never spray, try Double Delight. Even when I had to in WAY too much shade it never got icky looking. It didn't grow and it didn't bloom much but it never got bad looking. Wonderful rose to look at, has an out of this world true "tea rose" scent and is easy on top of every... | |

| A must have for rose lovers. Spreading bush that blooms continously. A creamy center fringed in red as it begins to open. You can see it turn a beatiful red before your eyes in the intense heat. It has a rich fruity frgrance all its own! | Ratings| overall | 9 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 9 | | foliage | 7 | | propagate | 5 | | fragrance | 9 |

| Bought as a bare root. When I unravelled it from the wet newspaper around the roots I found they had been trimmed to stubs (almost) so I didn't think it would survive. It has and has given me 6 beautifully scented blooms. Not as much color as I would have liked but the fact it survived and smells real good is enough for me. | Ratings| overall | 5 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 6 | | foliage | 6 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 10 |

The flowers on this plant make it worth while to own. Large bicolored blooms that age out pink red. It is ok on disease resistance. It gets a nasty case of BS in the fall. | Ratings| overall | 8 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 10 | | foliage | 7 | | propagate | 9 | | fragrance | 9 |

Double Delight in a Mug | My first year with DD. I had to put this bloom in a mug because I ran out of vases. The img is from my first flush of blooms - there wasn't much pink in any of them and they look very 'peace-y'. Beautiful anyway. I am hoping the wonderful pinkish red will blossom more with the next batch of buds. My very first flush had 8 buds. | Ratings| overall | 8 | | how easy | 9 | | flower | 7 | | foliage | 6 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 10 |

Double Delight with dew drops | Although this is a very popular rose, I have not had much luck with mine. I am giving it one more year - have had it three. It only has a few blooms a year. If they were all like this one, it would definately be one of my favorites. | Ratings| overall | 1 | | how easy | 3 | | flower | 1 | | foliage | 1 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 10 |

Double Delight, May '02 | Double Delight is a beautiful rose with a cream-colored ceter and red on the outer fringes. The fragrance is outstanding. I live in Tucson, so experimenting with the amount of sun, I have found that the buds tend to burn some if it gets too much in the heat of the day. | Ratings| overall | 9 | | how easy | 7 | | flower | 8 | | foliage | 7 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 10 |

A very charming rose | This is a cut Double Delight. It seems to be a bit tender. All three bushes got burned a little when i sprayed them with a light spray of Ultra-fine when nothing else got hurt. They did fine with Immunox though... and they did clean up well. The repeat, like most of my HT's isnt as fast as i would like, but the first flush was great. | Ratings| overall | 7 | | how easy | 7 | | flower | 5 | | foliage | 6 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | 9 |
