Just moved a few miles away and had to have a Henryi clematis in my new yard here in northern Colorado. THe flowers are as large as salad plates. Simply stunning! Here's a photo I took before I moved. Enjoy!
Henryi started to bloom in early July and has one flower still hanging on in early November in zone 6a Canada. The flowers are large and very pretty.
Photographed on a garden tour in Palo Alto California. The green color is likely to present in cooler growing conditions.
Early foliage is tinted bronze. A favorite of neighbors and garden visitors. vigorous, pristeen and a grand mixer
Henryi is an outstanding clematis with a very, very long season of bloom with heavy flushes spring and fall. Looks great with roses too!
