Chameleon in Northern California grows like a weed (sun or shade, wet or dry). It is the MOST invasive plant in my garden. It will burrow under things and pop up the other side with underground propagation. It is absolutely beautiful, but - I wish I had never planted 1 small plant. This is a hardy ground cover, but it has become VERY invasive. I spend a lot of time pulling it up so it doesn't choke out my other plants. What makes this even worse is that I think it has a truly repugnant smell. The flowers are small and tend to be hidden by the leaves.
