	'Chandleri Elegans'-vigorous and compact.Evergreen foilage. Bright rose pink blooms early-mid season.Seems to like its spot on the west side of the house in late day part sun.Growth more spreading than upright. No fragrance. Low maintanence.

Nora_in_Vancouver - 8b Wet Coast
April 30, 2003 (Vancouver)	These shrubs have lovely glossy leaves. The beautiful flowers have the interested habit of falling off almost intact, often not even wilted. We have picked many up off the ground during walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed them floating in a shallow bowl. This cultivar 'Grandiflora Rosea'.

my favourite camellia is great eastern which withstands a lot of heat and a white one which is of double form called shiro chan and has a long flowering time starting in april. my zone is sydney nsw.
