Images and Opinions of Camellia japonica from GardenWeb Members| doctorbeth - 7b/8a | Camellia in rare snow in Alabama | Camellia japonica 'Nuccio's Pearl'. It didn't bloom the first year. It formed buds but they just fell off. It bloomed this year - it's second year - and it was worth the wait! | Ratings| overall | 6 | | how easy | 8 | | flower | 5 | | foliage | 8 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | n/a |

| Nora_in_Vancouver - 8b Wet Coast | April 30, 2003 (Vancouver) | These shrubs have lovely glossy leaves. The beautiful flowers have the interested habit of falling off almost intact, often not even wilted. We have picked many up off the ground during walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed them floating in a shallow bowl. This cultivar 'Grandiflora Rosea'. | |
