June 16, 2003 | A weed here in the Pacific Northwest, but it has very nice purple flowers in May and June, similar to garden sweet peas. Easier than annual sweet peas, which can be very fussy here. I have one in shade at the side of the house that comes back each year but never flowers. Spectacular in a sunny spot, but untidy. | Ratings| overall | n/a | | how easy | n/a | | flower | n/a | | foliage | 3 | | propagate | n/a | | fragrance | n/a |
