Pavonia hastata is a type of Rose Mallow. It is different in that it's leaves are small and lance shaped, rather than the regular large hibiscus leaf. The bloom is a very dainty thing in pale pink with maroon throat, but lacking in fragrance. In full sun, it makes a rounded bush about 3 ft. wide and 3 ft. tall. It is perennial, and re-seeds easily.
