What do these terms mean?

Remarks:
Very satisfying and garden worth native prairie plant. Should be planted a couple feet apart; crowding seems to weaken the plants. Forbs can be planted between them. Very distinctive scent when in bloom may not appeal to everyone. Easily propagated in early spring by division - a mature plant will yield a score of sprigs or more.
