Remarks: Tradescantia is difficult to control in my garden - a nonstop grower that spreads freely. I find that whacking it back after first flowering encourages more compact growth and second flowering. This season, one of the previously blue-blooming plants bloomed white with a blue streak. (Self-hybridizing?)
