Remarks:
Cranberries are BC's largest berry crop, and most of the Cranberry farm bogs are just south and east of Vancouver. The bogs are surrounded by dykes; in the fall (mid October here) the fields are flooded about knee-deep, then the vines are beaten to release the berries, which float. This bog is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Vancouver near the airport.
